Majority of the puzzles uses standard 1 to 9 set.
There are two exceptions in the second round: Code for puzzle 5 uses digits 1 to 7 and letters „N“ and „Q“. Code for puzzle 7 is not made out of a row, you should write down digits 1 through 9 around a pointed circle. Code for puzzle 8 has a digit 0 for a black cell. Code for puzzle 10 consists of several digits and letters.
In puzzle 6 in the second round – Increasing snake – the snake goes through 4 consecutive cells in one box, and then leaves to the neighbouring box. Moreover the snake’s body does not touch itself. From the previous instructions we repeat that the position of snake’s body is not unique, but there is only one solution of the sudoku.
Round 1 consists of well-known Sudoku types while Round 2 consists of really exotic variations – if you will read the instructions during competition for the first time, you will probably suffer more than I wish you to suffer. Please, be prepared.
