Immediately after the end of the second SudokuCup I started to think about the author who could be suitable for the next SudokuCup.
After some consideration I decided to throw a net and “bite off not a little” – to try to get double world champion Thomas Snyder to become the new author.

Thanks to Doctor Vita Koudelka’s contacts we send Thomas an email. Thomas had some time to think and then he promised that he set it out after the World Puzzle Championship. On side there was also the possibility he could be the author of the World Sudoku Championship 2010 in Philadelphia. In that case he couldn’t be the author of SudokuCup.

In Antalya (WPC’s venue) Vita spoke to Thomas and carried him finally to become the SudokuCup author.

Well, after Karel Tesař (SC1) and Jan Novotný (SC2) the next author will be Thomas Snyder.

I believe that it will be a remarkable experience for you and that you find out some time to visit our pages at the weekend of January 16 – 17, 2010 and set your wits to other players in the third continuation of this unique competition.
