hey everybody...my bad luck that after solving some of sudokuS i 4got the time and submitted the score lately so...
I'm asking about the upcoming sudoku cup...when it gonna start????

most of us in India, practice only classic sudoku and we are not familiar with other type of puzzles that were given on 16th Jan 2010 competition. Will you hold only classic sudoku.

I don't know if you had the information: there were the Indian sudoku championships Finals today.
Rohan has won and is the Indian sudoku champion 2010.

I'd also recommend (for those who want info on when different countries are having sudoku championships) going to Rohan's blog at http://rohanrao.blogspot.com/
You'll see most international championships use a range of variants, and you can find many examples to practice linked from there.

World tournaments such as World championship consist of sudoku variants and you need to know classic sudoku of course, but you have to be good at variants too.
You can try previous sudokucup or you can try GP from the Czech Republic...

Maybe we will prepare an on-line variant of GP Pardubice, but we'll see... I'll be author there...
I have started some negotiation with new author Nikola Zivanovic from Serbia.
I'd like to prepare it at the weekend 19th to 20th June 2010.
