First of all, I`d like to say that I like most of the different forms of variant sudokus, and it makes fun to play this game in different ways.
But I often have some difficulties to understand the explanations given. So maybe it would be good to have an example aside to see how this actually works in the grid.
Todays variant sudoku (Point to Next) was impossible to solve for me just because I didn`t understand the logic. That is a pity. With a little picture of an example of this kind of solving would have helped.
Anyway thanks for your site and the efforts you make to keep this game interesting!

Greetings, neon.

Greetings, neon.

Thank you very much for your response!
I'm glad that you like sudoku variants and you've find your way to our server to solve them.

This week is about types which will be presented in WPF GP finals. We have mentioned it in this newsletter - http://sudokucup.com/content/wpf-sudoku-grand-prix-finals-beijing-2013.
The puzzle booklet for those types is available here:
http://www.worldpuzzle.org/files/35/instructions_gs-1.pdf

I hope it will help you to understand those puzzles more.

Unfortunately it's not easy to prepare all those rules understandable for everyone when we publish each day 3 different variant types Smile
So when you have some questions about the puzzle rules do not hesitate to ask me via our forum (maybe there will be someone else who will help you).
But I'm trying to do my best to make the rules clear as much as possible.

Good luck with solving!
